Brandi Smith is currently a Producer Associate for NBC10 Boston's Lifestyle & Entertainment show, 'The Hub Today'. Prior to joining the Hub team, Brandi worked in NBCU Local's Media Trainee Program in which she traveled to various stations to meet and shadow with different departments within the local division while also learning the business from two amazing leaders.

She graduated from The University of North Texas ('22), where she studied Journalism with an emphasis in Broadcast and Storytelling. In 2022, Brandi won the NBCU Scholarship award which connected her to like-minded students and leaders within the industry. 

In 2018, Brandi received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas in Interpersonal Communications and a certificate in Entrepreneurship. While at KU, Brandi held a four-year internship with AT&T, where she worked for the executive communications department in Dallas, Los Angeles, and New York City. At AT&T, she assisted in speech writing for the CEO/Chairman, ran the marketing campaign for the 2017 U.S. Open, and assisted in planning and creating content for large events featuring a high-profile celebrity. During her time with the company, Brandi received the ‘Golden Pen’ award for her stories written in the AT&T employee newsletter.

 With an interest in Lifestyle and Entertainment, Brandi hopes to one day run a business where she can create and market content that her audience will enjoy.
